Refund and Cancellation Policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refund requests work for ThoughtCite beta subscriptions. Exact checkout terms are shown before purchase and may vary by plan.
Cancellation
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled before renewal to avoid the next charge. After cancellation, access is expected to continue through the end of the paid period unless the account is suspended for misuse, payment failure, or legal/compliance risk.
Creator and Pro include a 7-day trial with card required. Stripe should show the trial end date and renewal amount before checkout confirmation.
Founding Creator and beta seats
Founding Creator is a limited paid-beta seat at $39/mo with the rate locked for 12 months while the subscription stays active. It should not be described as a trial unless the billing setup explicitly supports a trial for that tier.
Paid beta features, limits, supported integrations, and availability may change while the product is being finalized.
Refund requests
For beta subscriptions, contact support if the product materially failed to work for you. Refund requests are reviewed case by case, and a practical first-charge support window may apply based on the plan and checkout terms.
Annual plan refund handling is shown during checkout where annual plans are offered. Taxes may be added by Stripe at checkout where applicable.
Failed payments and support
If payment fails, ThoughtCite may show a billing notice and allow an explicit grace window to update the payment method. If payment is not resolved by the grace deadline, paid drafting, scoring, publishing, and tracking features may pause.
Billing, cancellation, refund, privacy, and deletion requests should be sent to support@thoughtcite.io or the billing support help route.
