Beta legal notice: This page summarizes ThoughtCite policies for beta customers in plain English. It is not legal advice and may be updated as the product, providers, and customer terms evolve.

ThoughtCite uses third-party providers to operate authentication, hosting, payments, AI features, proof-loop tracking, infrastructure, and support. This page summarizes provider categories for beta customers.

Current provider categories

Supabase may provide authentication/database infrastructure for account/auth data, application data, and user content metadata. Stripe processes payments, billing identifiers, invoices, plan/subscription metadata, and payment-card handling.

Anthropic may process drafts, pasted posts, voice/profile context, and scoring/classification inputs. OpenAI may process embedding inputs, prompts, and content where used. Perplexity and Google/Gemini may process tracked prompts and related query context for answer-engine tracking.

Hosting, queues, observability, and support

Vercel may process frontend request and diagnostic metadata. Redis or a managed queue/cache provider may process job metadata and transient task payloads if used in managed production infrastructure.

Sentry or another observability provider may process error/log context where enabled. Email/support providers may process support messages and contact metadata for customer support workflows.

Verification before launch

Do not publish provider-specific no-training, retention, region, certification, or contractual claims until settings and contracts are checked for every provider and plan.

If this list changes, checkout/legal copy should be updated before live paid checkout is enabled. Serious vendor or DPA questions should be routed to support/counsel.
